Call Buddy Privacy Policy:

 

Your privacy is a top priority. We do not collect any data or share it with anyone except those you specify. See Sharing Phone Numbers below.

 

To support various functions, Call Buddy requests access to resources on your phone. You may deny any access, or once allowed, revoke it later. Each access request and the * functions that depend on that access are listed below.

 

Contacts permission:

         * Lets you add to your buddy list from your contacts.

         * In initial setup, fills name and phone number in your profile for you, if available.

Files and media permission:

         * Lets you snap or select a photo for setting up your profile or a buddy profile.

Phone permission:

         * Lets you make phone calls using Call Buddy.

         * In initial setup, fills phone number in your profile for you, if available.

Location and nearby devices permission:

         * Lets you bump phones or tap a button with friends to trade phone numbers and set up call buttons.

 

The above resources are accessed only for the functions listed, and are not accessed at other times.

 

Sharing Phone Numbers:

The first time you bump or tap to trade numbers with friends, you will be asked to “Confirm Upload”. If you answer OK, the information you entered on the “My Profile” screen (an image, name, and phone number) is uploaded to the cloud to be downloaded to your friend’s phone. That information is not saved or shared with anyone but your friend.
